The Bentley Continental MK2 (2011-2018) and Bentley Mulsanne are particularly affected. In the Bentley Continental and Flying Spur, the head unit can reboot after displaying the Bentley logo, reboot randomly, make popping sounds or get stuck on the Bentley logo. The Mulsanne MMI can get stuck on a red or green screen or reboot randomly.
The PCM3.1 sat nav systems in the Porsche Cayenne, Macan, Panamera, Cayman and 911 can reboot randomly or get stuck loading navigation. The PCM4 has fewer problems but can still suffer from the "No Sound" issue or random reboots. The PCCM Plus units in the 911, Boxster, Cayman and Cayenne can get stuck rebooting after the Porsche logo or reboot randomly. We diagnose and repair these faults for less than the price of a replacement unit.
We repair Volkswagen RNS510, RNS810, Discover Pro MIB1, MIB2 and MIB2.5, and Discover Media MIB2 head units. We are one of the few in the UK to properly repair the touchscreen problem on VW Transporter head units, which are also used in the VW Tiguan, Caddy and Touran. We fix VW MIB2 head units (3Q0035874B and 3Q0035874C) that fail to boot, found in the VW Golf, Passat and T-Roc. We also fix head units that reboot randomly, get stuck in emergency update mode or have sound problems.
We cover almost all navigation systems in Audi models from 2011 to 2019. This includes the RMC asking for navigation activation, MMI rebooting in the Audi A4, A5, A6, A7 and A8, Harman Discover Pro MIB1 sound problems in the Audi A3, and random reboots and other faults in MIB2 systems.
Skoda head units share the same hardware as Seat and Volkswagen, with different software and part numbers. In the Skoda Yeti, MIB2 sat nav systems can suffer from ghost touch, often with visible bubbles caused by melting glue, which we fix by replacing the touchscreen. We repair RNS510 units in the Skoda Superb, Yeti and Octavia that are stuck in German or reboot randomly. We also fix the "no sound" issue on Discover Pro head units in the Octavia and Superb.
We repair faulty touchscreens on Seat Alhambra sat nav systems, and Seat RNS510 units that reboot unexpectedly, make popping sounds in the speakers or are stuck in German. We also diagnose and repair Seat MIB2 units with random reboots and sound problems.
Lamborghini Huracan and Aventador head units can freeze, reboot, fail to power up or stay stuck initialising the navigation. Some show a blank screen, or a red or green emergency screen, instead of the menu. We diagnose and repair these units at component level. The audio amplifier is a common failure in the Bentley Continental and Flying Spur, often due to water ingress or the battery being disconnected and reconnected incorrectly. This can drain the car battery and lead to expensive, unnecessary diagnostic attempts and repairs.
