What warranty does this repair come with?
- This repair comes with a 12‑month warranty on the replaced touchscreen, or 6 months if the unit had been opened, repaired or taken apart by others before. You can check your warranty on our Warranty page.
- The warranty covers the replaced touchscreen only. A different fault, or a fault caused by improper use or fitting, is not covered. The warranty is void if our warranty seals have been tampered with.

| Step 3. Pack your sat nav unit safely Wrap it in bubble wrap and put it in a sturdy box with your order confirmation or order number. Please don’t put any tape directly on the unit itself or on the bubble wrap, only tape the box. |
| Step 4. Post it to us Send it to the NaviTex address shown on your order confirmation. We recommend a tracked postal service, so you can follow your parcel all the way to us. You need to arrange and pay for the postage to us yourself. The shipping you pay on our website is only to send your head unit back to you, so we won’t send you a postage label. |
| Step 5. We repair, test and return it When it arrives, we repair it and test it. If you give us your phone number, we’ll send you a WhatsApp video of it working. Then we post it back to you. |
What is the turnaround time for this Repair?

What if it’s Non Repairable?
- Unless someone else attempted to repair your Volkswagen Sat Nav Touchscreen previously, it should be repairable.
- If under any circumstance it is a “Non Repair” you’ll be refunded in full except the shipping cost which will cover shipping the unit back to you.

The touch screen on my VW T6 Discover Media has been on the blink for a couple of years. Phoned Andrei up yesterday, took my van to his home address this morning and within half an hour he had taken the unit out the van fixed (by this I mean replaced with a new one) the touch screen, put it back in and activated App Connect for me. All for £160 which I think is pretty good service. Efficient, polite, professional, competitively priced and I would highly recommend him.

The touchscreen on the media head in our VW California camper began to delaminate causing areas to stop working. A new head is between £1,200 and £1,500 so we were delighted that it could be repaired for £150.
The whole thing took just over a week from handing it to the courier, to receiving it back repaired. Great service. Highly recommended.

I purchased a self fit overlay screen from another supplier but at the last minute I thought to myself “how is this going to work long term if I just overlay onto an existing faulty digitiser screen?”
I changed my mind and sent my unit to Navitex for removal of the faulty display and a new replacement fitted.
I posted it on Friday and the unit was back with me the following Wednesday. I have just refitted it to my VW Transporter Van today and it looks and works list like new.
I don’t normally do reviews but this service deserves one.

Amazing service. The screen had started to fail (non responsive) in our 2018 Amarok. I found NaviTex online after some research into repair service providers, we chose to go with NaviTex as other repairers offered a repair by overlaying a new screen on top of the old (failed) one. NatiTex on the other hand actually remove the failed screen and replace it with the new one. I booked an appointment for their drive in – drive out service. We arrived at 08:30 on the agreed date and our Head Unit was removed in less than 5 mins! We popped around the corner to Morrisons and received a text by 09:00 saying that our unit was repaired. We drove back around to NaviTex and our repaired unit was back in our car by 09:15 – we drove an hour each way to get to NaviTex, but it was worth it as the service was 100% hassle free and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are having Touch Screen issues 5 stars all the way.

Absolutely brilliant! My discover media mib2 head unit was having issues with dead spots on the screen and freezing. I contacted these guys and they assured me that they could fix the unit at a fraction of the cost of a new head unit which VW wanted to supply me. The turnaround was exceptionally fast, they even sent me a WhatsApp msg with a short video of my new screen working perfectly before returning it to me. These are the number one guys for repairs, don’t bother with the rest, these guys are the best!! I cannot recommend them enough!!

My T6 MIB2 radio has been getting worse over the last 12 months. At first it was like someone was touching the screen or moving their finger over it.
Did a little searching and it’s a common issue on 2016 MiB units I also found some crazy costs and sticking plaster services being done by some companies. A lot of these radio fixing services just stick a new digitiser over the top of your existing digitiser.
I found a company called NaviTex that replied quickly and honestly when asked about how they replace the digitiser. £150 for a complete replacement of the digitiser not just sticking one over the top, they swap your screen and digitiser for one they have in stock. I paid for the service over the bank holiday weekend, posted Tuesday and it’s back today Thursday.
They sent a WhatsApp of my radio with the issue resolved.
They have been very good to use, it’s a lot of money to trust when you’re posting a £800 radio but I would recommend these guys.

My VW T28 touchscreen had become unworkable, it was mostly unresponsive to touch whilst also having “ghost” touches frequently whilst using the vehicle. It also had what appeared to be adhesive dripping down the front of the panel in the vehicle. Nightmare! Luckily, having taken the radio unit out of the vehicle (not difficult) and sending it off to NaviTex, it was quickly repaired and returned (couple of working days). Communication was great, with a video of the repair sent on WhatsApp and confirmation of the radio being h returned by tracked post. Couldn’t be happier twitch the result, and I wish I’d done this way sooner. Haven’t managed to test long term success, but initial impressions are great.

The screen in our VW Beetle had areas where the ‘touch’ function wasn’t working and it was also randomly selecting radio stations. I had seen all the YouTube videos showing how one could fix the problem but these involved disconnecting the original digitiser and simply placing another one in front of the faulty one. This didn’t seem like a good solution to me. I found Navitex and saw that they did a proper repair by professionally replacing the faulty digitiser. I posted our unit to Navitex and received it back within a day or so and now it works as it should. Great service and a sensible price. Very happy and would recommend Navitex.
